Kean Picks Up Victories over Earlham and Wittenberg at Spring Games

WINTER HAVEN, FLA (3/10/26) – Samantha Raymond went 4-for-7 with two doubles and two RBI's as the Kean University softball team picked up victories over Earlham College and Wittenberg University at the 2026 Spring Games in Central Florida.

Kean 5, Earlham 0
  • The Cougars started thier scoring early with a Rielynn Carey RBI double in the first.
  • Raymond added a run in the fifth with an RBI double that scored Gina Mahlik.
  • The Cougars added three more in the seventh, including RBI's from Maddie Cermai and Morgan Boyd.
  • Cermai went 3-for-3 with one RBI.
  • Nikki Lusnia struck out eight in the complete game victory.
Kean 10, Wittenberg 2 (6 Inn.)
  • After a Wittenberg run in the top of the third, Kean put together five runs in the bottom half of the inning.
  • Mahlik, Carey, Lusnia, Boyd, and Melissa Martinez each posted an RBI.
  • Kean extended their lead to 7-1 behind a Raymond RBI in the fourth and a Mahlik RBI in the fifth.
  • The Tigers got a run back in the sixth, before Martinez and Natalie Stannard posted back-to-back RBI's which closed out the game.
  • Mahlik finished 3-for-3 with two RBI's and a run scored.
  • Brianna Sciulli, Raymond, Nikki Lusnia, Morgan Boyd and Martinez all posted two hits.
  • Raymond struck out three batters in a complete game victory.
