Union, N.J. (3/21/26) - #4 Juniata College pushed past #19 Kean University by the final of 3-1 Saturday afternoon in CVC action.

Juniata 3, Kean 1 (12-25, 25-19, 18-25, 15-25)

The Eagles used two separate 6-0 runs to keep a comfortable advantage in the first set (10-3 & 23-10).

Trailing 13-10 in the second set, the Cougars rallied on a 9-2 run to push ahead 19-15.  The Eagles pulled within one (19-18) but Kean against used a small surge (24-18) to even the match at one-all.

The Eagles then lead from start to finish in each of the final two sets to take the match victory.

Chris Mitchell led Kean with 13 kills while David Flores collected 31 assists.

Tyler Phillips recorded 15 kills for the Eagles.

Kean travels to Drew University on Tuesday in CVC play.
