LEXINGTON, Va. (4/10/26) – Sean Murphy and Danny Pugliano combined for 21 kills as the fifth seeded Kean University men's volleyball team bowed out of the Continental Volleyball Conference Tournament with a 3-1 loss to the top seeded Southern Virginia University Knights on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• SVU took a tight set one, that saw six ties, behind five kills from David Ward.
• The Knights ran away with set two, hitting .276 and holding the Cougars to a .000 percentage.
• Kean proved to be very effective in the 25-20 set three victory, hitting .308 and committing just two errors.
• Murphy and Pugliano combined for nine kills in set three.
• SVU bounced back in set four, holding the Cougars to a negative hitting percentage.
