MAHWAH, N.J. (4/22/26) – 11 second half goals lifted the Kean University women's lacrosse team to their first New Jersey Athletic Conference victory with a 18-7 decision over Ramapo College on Wednesday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED!!!
- After a back and forth first quarter, Emilie Schultz scored two goals during a 4-1 run in the second quarter.
- Savannah Olsson and Skyler Ray also posted two first half goals as Kean held a 7-5 advantage at the break.
- In the third, the Cougars notched seven more to hold a 14-7 lead entering the fourth.
- Cayla Wurz and Olsson each tallied two apiece in the third stanza.
- In the fourth, Wurz, Olsson and Schultz each recorded a goal as Kean extended their lead to double digits.
