GREENSBORO, N.C. (7/23/26) - The Kean University baseball team has earned a Sports Attack/ American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2025-26 school year.

Founded after the 2015-16 school year, the Cougars were one of 420 NCAA programs and one of 197 programs from Division III to be honored. Coaches nominated their teams based on the following criteria: Must be a high school or college team, the Head Coach must be a current ABCA member, Teams must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.0 scale during the academic year.

Kean collected their seventh team academic award after first being selected in '17-'18.
