PITMAN, N.J. (8/27/26) - The Kean University field hockey team has been selected sixth in the New Jersey Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll.
 
Rowan landed in the top spot with seven first-place votes, while TCNJ was slotted second with one first place vote. Stockton, Montclair State and New Paltz (Dark Horse) were ahead of the Cougars in the third, fourth and fifth slots. The rest of the poll is as follows: Ramapo and William Paterson.
 
The Cougars will open the 2026 season hosting Wilkes on Sept. 2^nd.
