UNION, N.J. (9/16/26) – A late first half goal lifted the Moravian University Greyhounds to a 1-0 victory over the Kean University men's soccer team on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!

• Moravian broke through in the 42nd minute when Joey Roth capitalized on a misplayed clearance, tapping a loose ball across the line.
• The Cougars ramped up the pressure in the second stanza, outshooting the Greyhounds, 10-4.
• Salem Ellisy generated Kean's two best scoring opportunities with chances in the 54th and 63rd minutes.
• Ellisy's attempt in the 54th minute rattled the crossbar and bounced straight down, never crossing the goal line.
• The junior transfer threatened again in the 63rd minute, but Joey Varano preserved the lead with a leaping save, reaching high to tip away at the top of the goal.
