ABINGTON, Pa. – Junior Sarah Knoetig led the Kean University women's cross country team to a first place finish at the Abington Invitational on Saturday, September 19, placing third overall with a time of 26:07.48.
Sophomore Alyssa Sealey followed closely behind, finishing fourth in 26:10.79. Shaina Perry rounded out Kean's top three, crossing the finish line in fifth place with a time of 26:16.00.
Daniella Esteves placed 10th overall for the Cougars, recording a time of 28:42.80, while Ariana Cadina finished 12th in 29:46.19 to round out Kean's five recorded finishers.
The Cougars delivered a strong team performance, placing five runners among the top 12 finishers at the Abington Invitational.
