Three Goal First Half Vaults Women’s Soccer Past Brooklyn in Joe Colodne Memorial Game

UNION, N.J. (9/19/26) – Stephanie Monroe finished with a goal and an assist as the Kean University women's soccer team earned a 3-0 shutout victory over Brooklyn College in the Joe Colodne Memorial Game on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!
  • The Cougars tallied their first goal in the 10th minute as Monroe served a failed clearance back into the box for Danielle Maher, whose header redirected to Allison Yiu for a flick-in finish.
  • Kean added to their lead in the 20th minute as Maher's cross into Carly Gleason was slotted home by the senior.
  • Monroe capped off the scoring in the 28th minute with a blast into the upper 90 from about 35 yards out.
