Reynoso Leads the Cougars at the Aggie Invite

DOYLESTOWN, PA - The men's 5000m field took to the course at the Aggie Invite, with Eldon Reynoso leading the way for the Cougars with a strong showing, crossing the line in 17:24.8, good for fourth place.

Goncalo Carvalho and Andrew Martinez ran nearly in lockstep for much of the race, finishing back-to-back in 18:55.1 (6th) and 18:57.5 (8th), respectively, to give the squad a solid one-two punch behind Reynoso.

Ryan Niland rounded out the team's top four with a time of 20:11.0 (12th), while Shamar Williams and Najib Robinson also crossed together, clocking 22:22.1 (19th) and 22:24.0 (20th) to close out the scoring efforts.

Christian Ciquero (24th, 23:48.9) and Lance Thomas (34th, 25:37.7) rounded out the race for the Cougars.

The Cougars return to action on September 12 when they head to Holmdel, NJ to participate in the Back to the Bowl Invite hosted by Stevens Institute of Technology.
