Gleason Notches Hat-Trick as Women’s Soccer Routs CCNY in Brick City Classic

NEWARK, N.J. (9/6/26) – Carly Gleason notched a first half hat-trick as the Kean University women's soccer team routed CCNY, 8-0 in the Brick City Classic hosted by Rutgers-Newark on Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED!!!
  • Gleason notched her hat-trick during a five goal first half.
  • The senior recorded three straight goals, capped off by a penalty kick goal in the 25th minute.
  • Ella Petrosh also tallied a goal and assist as Kean held a commanding 5-0 lead at the break.
  • Petrosh assisted on an Emily Pinho goal in the ninth minute and put one home in the 30th minute.
  • The Cougars added three more in the second, including two from Natalia Soler and a goal and assist from Cassidy Boasso.
