Matthew Jobson

Jobson joins the Cougar staff for his third season in 2021. 

A native of England, Jobson has over 20 years of field hockey experience in the United Kingdom and the US. The former defender, with St. Albans HC in England, moved to the United States in 2013 and became a goalkeeping specialist with Jersey Intensity Field Hockey Club.

During this time, Jobson also became the goalkeeper coach and a manager for the US Indoor Squad under Head Coach Rennie Milne. Matt continued in that role for the next two years. 

A former London Detective, Matt got into coaching after working with his wife, Anthea, who is a former national league goalkeeper in the UK.
