AJ Roque

Former Cougar AJ Roque joins the football staff for his fourth season.

Roque previously coached at Raritan High School (2011-12), Monmouth Regional (2010) and Matawan Regional (2009).

During that same time, Roque played Professional Arena and Indoor Football with the Albany Conquest (2008, Arena Football League 2), Florida Stingrays (2008, American Indoor Football Association), Harrisburg Stampede (2009, American Indoor Football Association), Erie Storm (2010, American Indoor Football Association), Lehigh Valley Steelhawks (2011, Indoor Football League).
 
 
As a player, Roque was a four-year starter at Quarterback for Kean from 2004-07. He threw for 8,443 yards with 615 pass completions and 65 touchdown passes. AJ was the 2004 NJAC Rookie of the Year and a 2x NJAC Offensive Player of the Year (2006, 2007). Roque also holds numerous game, season and career records in the Kean record book.

Roque is currently a Lead Operator with the Kuehne Chemical Company
