Fred Carter joins the football coaching staff for his first season in 2024. 

Carter has been a defensive back coach at both Belleville High School (2018-22) and Montclair High School (2022-24).

Carter is no stranger to NJAC football, playing four years at Montclair State University (2003-07). During his time with the Red Hawks, Carter recorded over 1100 receiving yards and was named an All-NJAC selection in 2006. Carter also saw time on special teams as a kick and punt returner. 

Carter earned a B.A. in Psychology from Montclair State University in 2009. He is currently a ABA Para Professional Bloomfield Public Schools District.
