Kean University

Nick Fuentes returns for his ninth season coaching with the Kean University football program in 2025. The former Cougar coached on Garrett's staff from 2014-17. 

He was a player under Coach Garrett and helped lead the Cougars to the 2011 NJAC Championship. As a senior, he was named the special teams MVP after racking up 2,180 punting yards, including 16 punts inside the 20-yard line and five over 50 yards.

He earned his bachelor of arts in recreation administration from Kean in 2015. Fuentes currently works as a government software sales executive.
