Karl Towns joins the men’s basketball staff for his fourth season in 2023-24.

Towns previously coached at Middlesex County College for one season in 2017-18. Prior to MCC, Towns coached at the Piscataway Vocational and Technical School from 1995 to 2010.

He collegiately played at Monmouth College (1983-85), Mercer County College (1982-83) and Middlesex County College (1981-82).

Towns graduated from Monmouth in 1985, where he ranks 11^th all-time in rebounds (515), holds the single-season record for rebounds (319) during the 1984-85 season and holds the single-game record for rebounds with 23 against Morgan State on Jan. 12^th, 1985.
