Tim Steward transitions to the sidelines as an assistant coach and academic specialist in 2015-16.

As a student-athlete at Kean, Steward was a part of the National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court, a Dean’s List honoree and graduated cum laude with a degree in physical education in 2015.

Steward was a two-year starter for Kean, led the team in minutes played as a senior and was on the roster from 2011 to 2015. He scored 329 points in his career and racked up 276 rebounds, 80 assists, 57 steals and 34 blocks.

The Dayton, Ohio native is also an NSLA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and has worked as a substitute teacher.
