Matthew Schneck will join the Kean men's lacrosse staff for his fifth season in 2017.

Schneck earned his degree in psychology from Stevenson University in 2012, where as captain he helped lead the Mustangs to the NCAA Tournament in all four years of his career. Stevenson reached the NCAA semifinals three times and the quarterfinals once.

After graduation, he has been employed as a mental health technician at East Mountain Hospital and the Carrier Clinic. He also began his coaching career as the JV and defensive coach at the Red and Black Elite Lacrosse Club.
