Tyler Russell joins the Kean men’s lacrosse program for his second season as assistant coach of the Cougars in 2017. Russell was a collegiate standout for Rochester Institute of Technology, where he was a two-time (2011 & 2012) United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All-American Selection.

Russell was also a USILA Academic All-American and was the 2012 Liberty League Player of the Year for the Tigers. He earned his bachelor of arts degree from RIT in business administration.

In addition to his duties with the Cougars, he is currently the director of youth travel of Building Blocks Lacrosse Club and the head of the club’s box lacrosse program.
