Kean University

Former Cougar Richard Zapata will join the Kean University men’s soccer staff in the fall of 2016. Zapata started every game in the midfield for the Cougars in both 2014 and 2015 and also played for the Jersey Blues soccer club and Ironbound SC.

Zapata scored two goals and handed out six assists in his career, including one in Kean’s 1-0 win over Stockton in the NJAC Tournament in 2014. He also scored the game-winner against Marywood University on September 16, 2015.
