Melissa Scott enters her second season with the coaching staff in 2015-16 as a graduate assistant after graduating from Rutgers University in New Brunswick.

Scott earned double-major degrees in both economics and political science at Rutgers and was honored both on the Dean’s List and by the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

Scott was a part of the Rutgers club softball program in her time at Rutgers and was employed at the Douglass Campus Center. She has also volunteered for Bridges, the Mentor/Tutor Union County Ex-Offenders Re-entry Program and was a High School Counselor Mediator.
