Jack Garruto enters his fifth year with the Cougar athletic training staff after graduating from William Paterson University in 2022. Garruto was appointed to full-time athletic trainer in July 2023 after serving two years a grad assistant.  

Garruto was a student assistant at William Paterson University, working with football, baseball, women’s basketball, women’s soccer and field hockey. In addition to his time at Paterson, Jack was a student assistant at Cliffside Park High School and with the New York City Football Club.

Garruto holds a National Safety Council Professional Rescuer CPR Certification and an American Red Cross Advanced First Aid Certification.

He graduated in May 2023 from Kean with a masters in Exercise Science.
