Lopes returns as the Coordinator of Sports Operations.for his third year in 2026-27.

As the Coordinator of Sports Operations he is responsible for assisting the day-to-day operations of several Kean Athletics teams, including men’s soccer, eSports, men’s & women’s golf, men’s & women’s wrestling, and  women's tennis. Lopes will coordinate the operations, coaching and cultivation of Kean’s Division III programs and its student-athletes. will have oversight of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee,  and will serve as an academic resource for student-athletes.

A former Cougar, (2016-19), Lopes totaled five points on two goals and one assist in 47 career games.

Lopes is also a NY Red Bulls Youth Programs Coach and was an assistant coach with Union High School. 

He graduated from Kean with a B.S. in Business Management and a minor communications in 2021 and a Master of Arts in Communication in 2024.
