Therese Doyle Tullis was appointed Deputy Director of Athletics in October 2025, following her tenure as Associate Director of Athletics since November 2022.
In her role as a senior leader, Doyle Tullis supports the development and execution of the Athletic Department’s strategic plan, priorities, and goals. She oversees the department’s day-to-day operations, including fiscal management, budget development and reporting, personnel, sport administration, and Title IX compliance. She has played a key role in launching strategic initiatives such as the Opendorse Name, Image and Likeness platform and the On New Jersey media partnership. Doyle Tullis also serves as the department’s liaison to several campus partners, including Admissions, Financial Aid, and Human Resources.
Doyle Tullis is an active contributor to NCAA and conference governance. She currently serves on the NCAA Division III Field Hockey Committee and has previously served on NCAA Regional Advisory Committees for women’s lacrosse and field hockey. Within the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC), she has held multiple leadership roles, including sport chair for women’s lacrosse and field hockey, and chair of the Officiating and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committees.
Prior to joining Kean, Doyle Tullis spent six years at Rutgers-Camden, most recently as Assistant Director of Athletics/SWA. She holds two master’s degrees- an M.B.A. from Rutgers-Camden and an M.S. in Sport Business from Temple University. She earned her undergraduate degree in English from Saint Joseph’s University, where she was a four-year member of the field hockey team and an All-Atlantic 10 First Team selection. She is also a 2019 graduate of the Women Leaders in College Sports Institute for Administrative Advancement.
Doyle Tullis lives in Jersey City with her husband, Josh Tullis.
