Onal, Green Each Record Hat Tricks in 8-0 Victory

Onal, Green Net Hat Tricks in 8-0 Victory

 ALLENTOWN, Pa. (10/13/07) - Senior Alli Green (West Deptford, N.J.) and freshman Nuran Onal (Cinnaminson, N.J.) each recorded a hat trick, as the Kean University field hockey team defeated host Cedar Crest College, 8-0, in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.

Kean (8-4) scored two goals in a 30 second span early in the first half en-route to a 4-0 halftime advantage. 

Junior Stephanie Cirino (Warminster, Pa.) scored two of the Cougars first three goals, while Onal netted three straight goals spanning the first and second halves.

Green and Cirino each added an assist in the victory, as the Cougars did not allow a shot  by Cedar Crest.

The Cougars return to action on Wednesday, October 17, when they travel to Manhattanville College for a non-conference match at 4 p.m.
