Dorsey Lone Goal Sends Rutgers-Camden Past Kean,

Andrew Dorsey (Mt. Laurel, N.J.) netted the game
win just under eight minutes into the second half to propel
Rutgers-Camden to a 1-0 victory over host Kean University Saturday
evening at Kean Alumni Stadium.
The win improves the Scarlet Raptors to 6-3 overall and 2-0 in
the NJAC while the loss drops Kean to 4-4 and 2-1 in conference
play.
In the low scoring affair, Dorsey scored the game's lone goal off
an assist from senior Rodney Guishard (Mays Landing,
N.J.) at 47:57.
Rutgers-Camden held a 6-2 advantage in corner kicks while the
Cougars edged the Scarlet Raptors in shot, 12-8.
Senior netminder Brent Grunow (Estell Manor,
N.J.) recorded five saves in the shutout while senior
Kyle Crego (Ocean City, N.J.) tallied four saves
in just over 71 minutes in the loss.
Kean will resume play on Wednesday, September 27 as they travel
to New Jersey City University for a 4 p.m. match.
