Kean Cruises Past Medgar Evers,

Union, N.J. (9/10/08) - Junior Sebastian Baison
(Hillside, N.J.) recorded two goals while freshman
Andres Berriel (Las Piedras, Uruguay) tallied a
goal and two assists as Kean University rolled past visiting Medgar
Evers College, 8-0, Wednesday evening in their home opener.
Kean, who outshot Medgar Evers 28-5, improves to 4-1-1 while
Medgar falls to 0-6.
KU wasted little time as Baison (pictured right) notched
his two goals in the first 10 minutes of action. Kean
received goals from Berriel, Thomas Azydzik (Clark,
N.J.) and Mark Efstratiou (Summit, N.J.)
before closing out the half with a 5-0 lead.
KU cruised through the second half tallying three goals,
including an own goal.
Keeper Alfredo Oquendo (North Plainfield, N.J.)
recorded just one save in tonight's action.
KU will head back to the road to take on the Falcons of Messiah
College on Saturday, September 13th.
