#3 Messiah Controls Cougars,
5-0
Grantham, Pa. (9/13/08) - #3 Messiah College controlled
most of the match snapping the Cougars four game winning streak by
a score of 5-0, Saturday evening.
The Cougars (4-2-1) recorded just two shots all evening as the
Falcons dominated the offense.
Messiah (4-0-1) picked up four goals in the first half,
including two to open up the scoring from Geoff Pezon (Blandon,
Pa.).
In split time in net, sophomore Alfredo Oquendo (North
Plainfield, N.J.) had three saves while freshman
Kyle Kemp (Pittsgrove, N.J.) (pictured right) held
Messiah scoreless with five saves.
Kean returns to action on Tuesday, September 16th
when they travel to Eastern Connecticut State University for a 4:30
p.m. match.
