Cougars Cruise Past Lancaster

Lancaster, Pa. (3/31/09) - Sophomore Amanda South
(Fairless, Pa.) recorded a game-high four goals as Kean
University picked up their second straight win defeating host
Lancaster Bible College, 15-3, Tuesday afternoon.
Kean (2-6) took complete control of the match, scoring 12 goals
in the first half.
Offensively South had three assists to go along with her four
goals for a total of seven points. Sophomore Kelly
Mataya (Woodland Park, N.J.) added three goals and four
groundballs while senior Stephanie Cirino (Warminster,
Pa.) had two goals, one assist and six draw
controls.
Freshmen Gina Petrizzo (Hopatcong, N.J.) and
Sabrina Vargas (Elizabeth, N.J.) split time in
goal in the win.
