Men's Lacrosse Breezes Past Mt. St.
Vincent, 20-6
Yonkers, N.Y. (4/10/10) – The Kean
men's lacrosse team sprinted out to an 8-1 lead after the
first quarter on their way to defeating host College of Mt. St.
Vincent, 20-6, Saturday afternoon in Skyline action.
The Cougars (9-4, 3-0 Skyline) led in all categories this afternoon
including shots (52-24), groundballs (45-34) and faceoffs (17-30).
Senior Anthony Bertucci (Edison, N.J.) finished
with four goals, three groundballs and one caused turnover while
senior Scott Leathem (Fair Lawn, N.J.) had three
goals and one assist. Senior C.J. Gannon (Morris
Plains, N.J.) had two goals and four assists.
Senior netminder John Gesumaria (Cranford,
N.J.) had six saves in 45 minutes of action.
Kean returns to conference action on Saturday, April
17th as they square off against Montclair State at 7
p.m.
