Cougars Fall to TCNJ
Ewing, N.J. (4/25/10) – The #3 College of New Jersey
women's lacrosse team scored 13 goals in the first half on
their way to defeating Kean University, 16-1, Sunday evening in New
Jersey Athletic Conference action.
TCNJ (14-1, 4-1 NJAC) notched the match's first 12 goals
before the Cougars (7-9, 1-4 NJAC) were able to break-up the
shutout as junior Amanda South scored off a pass
from Lyndsey Cannon.
Rookie Jules Keeley made six saves in the
net.
Kean returns to action on Tuesday when they host the College of
Mt. St. Vincent in the Skyline Tournament.
