Men's Lax Handles Stockton,
11-2
POMONA, N.J. (4/8/10) – Senior C.J.
Gannon had three goals and an assist to lead the Kean
University men's lacrosse team to an 11-2 win over Richard
Stockton College in Skyline Conference action on Thursday evening.
Senior goalkeeper John Gesumaria made 14 saves
for the Cougars (8-4, 2-0 Skyline), while Richard Stockton
goalkeeper Pete Marcelliano stopped 10 shots for the
Ospreys (4-3, 0-1 Skyline).
The Cougars scored the first five goals of the game en-route to
taking a 6-1 lead after the first quarter, as senior
Jazimar Bailey scored twice in the first 10
minutes of the game.
In the win, Bailey (pictured right) finished with three goals,
while senior Anthony Bertucci had one goal, two
assists and four groundballs in the victory.
The Cougars travel to College of Mount Saint Vincent on
Saturday, April 10, at 1 p.m.
