Union, N.J. (9/25/10) – The Kean
University women's soccer team battled to a 1-1 tie with visiting
Rutgers-Camden on Saturday evening in New Jersey Athletic
Conference action at Kean Alumni Stadium.
Despite out-shooting Camden, 34-5, in 110 minutes of action, all
of the match's goal scoring occurred in the first 24 minutes of
play.
Rutgers-Camden (1-5-2, 0-1-2 NJAC) was able to push across the
first goal of the match as Samantha Sharp scored in front
of the cage off a missed clear.
Kean (6-1-2, 1-0-1 NJAC) was then able to tie the match at one
all in the 23rd minute as junior Danielle
Esposito (pictured right) bended the ball into the
upper left hand side of the net. The teams then battled over
the next 87 minutes to force a tie.

Russo had two saves while freshman Leighanna
Milby had seven saves in the final 65 minutes of play.
Kean returns to NJAC action as they travel to New Jersey City
University on Wednesday.
