Keene, N.H. (9/5/10) – Sophomore Kharee Winslow scored the only goal of the match to give Kean
their second win of the season as the men's soccer team
defeated St. Joseph's College of Maine, 1-0, Sunday afternoon
in the Xara Classic at Keene State College.
Winslow (pictured right) pushed across the game-winning goal in
the 77th minute off a deflection in the box.
Winslow took the majority of all shots in today's matchup
with 9-of-15 for the Cougars.
Senior Alfredo Oquendo stopped the only two
shots he faced on the afternoon as Kean improved to 2-1.
The Cougars will travel to Virginia Wesleyan next weekend for
their next tournament matchup.
