HOBOKEN, N.J. (9/10/11) – Freshman forward Erickson Simeon scored the lone goal of the game, as Kean University recorded the 1-0 win over The College at Brockport in men's soccer action at the 2011 Stevens College Classic on Saturday evening.

Simeon scored off the assist from rookie Tulio Pinto in the with 11:49 remaining in the first half.

The score woudl remain that way for the final 56 minutes of action, as goalkeeper Brian Haines recorded the shutout victory with a pair of saves for the Cougars.

Brockport (3-2) held a slight 14-11 advantage in shots, while Kean (2-1-2) held a 3-1 edge in corner kicks.

The Cougars added a non-conference game against Hunter College on Wednesday, September 14, at 7:30 p.m. in Kean Alumni Stadium.
