Camden, N.J. (9/22/12) – The Kean
University men's soccer team fell to #12 Rutgers-Camden by
the final of 4-1, Saturday afternoon in NJAC action.
With the loss the Cougars fall to 5-4 overall and 1-2 in
conference play while the Scarlet Raptors improve to 7-1 and 2-1 in
the New Jersey Athletic Conference.
Camden used a balanced scoring attack in the first half to take
a 3-0 lead at the break. Kean scored their only goal of the
match as junior Chris Nassif blasted one in from
25 yards out off a restart. Rookie Pablo
Valle added the assist on the play.
Junior Tyler Callahan recorded eight saves in
45 minutes of second-half action.
Kean returns to action on Wednesday when they host New Jersey
City University at the East Campus Complex at 4 p.m.
