VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (3/18/15) – The Kean University men's lacrosse team took down Skidmore College 8-5 in Virginia Beach game on Wednesday. Anthony Carpenter and Matt Speciale had two goals each as Kean raised its record to 4-2.
The teams were tied at one goal each after one quarter, but Kean scored the only four goals of the second to open up a 5-1 lead at halftime.
Goaltender Maxwell Fields made 18 saves in the game, and Carpenter (pictured left) added an assist in the contest.
The other scorers for the Cougars were Anthony Rybek, Jeff Christiano, Eric Talbot and Dave Hobson.
Anthony Perrotta and Tom Kelly also had one assist each, and Kean was 9-for-16 on faceoffs.

The Cougars will be back in action on Saturday in another neutral-site matchup against SUNY Potsdam in Cortland, New York.
