Union, N.J. (10/15/16) – The Kean University women's soccer team used an early first half goal to stand up as they defeated Rutgers-Camden by the final of 1-0 on senior night.
Jordyn Bronsky netted the game-winner just over four minutes into the action as she hammered home the goalie deflection of teammate Lexy Monroy's shot attempt.
The proved to be the only scoring of the day as shots were limited in the matchup. Kean (9-6, 4-3 NJAC) held a slight 10-6 advantage in that category with an even slimmer advantage in corner opportunities (2-1).
In goal, Lauren Healey stopped two shots while Katie Gurba had three for the Scarlet Raptors (4-8-2, 2-5 NJAC).
The Cougars hosts St. Joseph's Long Island in their only non-conference matchup left on the schedule on Wednesday. It is Friends of Jacyln Night so come out an support a great cause.
