Bradenton, Fla. (3/10/16) – The Kean University women's lacrosse led wire-to-wire defeating Green Mountain College, 18-1 in their Spring Fling finale.
Kean (3-0) used an offensive explosion in the first half, sprinting to a 13-1 halftime lead. Ten different Cougars got in on the scoring action with Jessica Bohn, Emily Stasuk, Sam Gnapp, and Clarissa Mejia all had two goals in the period.
The Cougars then paced through the second half as Jordan Blanda netted a second-half hat trick.
Kean committed just four turnovers and recorded 15 draw controls.
Blanda led all players with four goals as well as an assist with three groundballs, two draw controls and two caused turnovers. Stasuk (pictured left) finished the day with three goals and an assist.
Kean comes back up north and will take on Eastern University on Tuesday.
