Union, N.J. (3/22/16) – The Kean University women's lacrosse team improved to 6-0 on the year as they cruised past SUNY College at Old Westbury by the final of 17-1 on Tuesday afternoon in non-conference action.
Rookie Morgan Graham led all players with 4 goals on the day as eight different Cougars tallied goals in the win.

The teams traded early goals in the span of 24 seconds but Kean quickly erased the tie and scored four goals over the course of four minutes and pushed out to a comfortable cushion. Emily Stasuk's goal with 8:11 to go in the half pushed the Cougars into a double-digit lead where they ran out the rest of the first half.
The Cougars used paced scoring attack in the final 30 minutes to walk away with their sixth win of the season.
Senior Sam Gnapp recorded three goals and two assists while sophomore Krista LaMaina had four draw controls, a goal and two caused turnovers. Senior Jordan Blanda provided an all-around effort with two goals, an assist, four draw controls, three caused turnovers and two groundballs.
Keeper Nikki Apostolopoulos (pictured left) recorded six saves on the day.
