BRONX, N.Y. (3/30/16) – The No. 11 Kean University men's volleyball team clinched the Skyline Conference Regular Season Championship and collected its sixth-straight sweep with a 3-0 blanking of the College of Mount Saint Vincent on Wednesday.
The Cougars are now 26-6 on the year and have sewn up the Skyline Conference regular season title for the fifth-straight season. They will be the No. 1 seed in next week's Skyline championship. Kean has not lost a Skyline match in the past three seasons.
Senior Tommy Rosario led the way on Wednesday with eight kills, two aces, five total blocks and a .583 attack percentage. Nicholas Buseski (pictured left) also put down eight kills and swung at a .500 clip. Steve Schrank handed out 21 assists and tied with Nick Breslin for the team lead in digs with eight.
Full stats were not available on Wednesday night and season stats will be updated on Thursday.
The Cougars will wrap up the regular season on Saturday with two Skyline Conference matches against St. Joseph's College and the Sage Colleges beginning at 4 p.m. in Troy, New York.
