York, Pa. (9/10/16) – The Kean University women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 defeat to McDaniel College in day one of the York College Soccer Classic.
The Green Terror (2-0) scratched across a goal in the 57th minute for the game's only tally on a hot and humid afternoon.
Senior Lauren Healey stopped seven shots in the loss.
McDaniel held an 11-1 advantage in corner kicks, with a slight 11-9 advantage in shots overall.
The Cougars (1-3) return to action on Sunday when they face Franklin & Marshall at 1 p.m.
