Portland, Maine (9/24/16) – The Kean University field hockey team remained perfect with a 4-0 shutout over St. Joseph's College (Maine) on Saturday evening in non-conference action. 

The Cougars (8-0) didn't allow a shot all evening as Bailee Mullen and Erin Smith split time in goal.

On the offensive side of things, Kean paced the scoring with two goals in each half.  The LaMaina sisters paired up for what would be the game-winner just over 11 minutes into the contest.  Just two minutes later, Kayla Molnar made it 2-0 with an unassisted tally. 

Krista LaMaina and Shauna LaMaina matched up again for a strike early in the second half, swapping roles for the game's third goal.  Raykena Brown (pictured left) rounded out the scoring with a goal at 62:28.

The Cougars return right back into action on Sunday when they face Thomas College at 1 p.m.
