Union, N.J. (3/28/18) – The Kean University women's lacrosse team used a second-half surge to push past FDU-Florham by the final of 11-5 on Wednesday afternoon.

The Cougars (8-0) outscored the Devils (3-3) 8-1 in the final period, including scoring the final eight goals of the contest.

Morgan Graham led all players with four goals while Meghan Tillger added one goal, one assist and six draw controls.

In a tight first half the Devils held the advantage at the break with a 4-3 lead, including back-to-back goals from Caitlyn Damon to end the period, breaking a three-all tie. 

FDU would lead by as many as two (5-3) with an early goal in the second half, but the Cougars surged from there, tying things up on Graham's second tally of the day.  Sarah Powers gave Kean the lead for good two minutes later.

Nikki Apostolopoulos earned her eighth win of the season as she collected 16 saves in the win.
