Union, N.J. (4/17/18) – The Kean University women's lacrosse team led from start to finish in a 16-7 win over Ramapo College in NJAC action on Tuesday afternoon.
In cold, blustery conditions, Morgan Graham led all players with six goals on the day as well as an assist as Kean improves to 12-2 overall and 2-2 in the conference.
Gabi Davidson led the Roadrunners with two goals and an assist as well as 10 draw controls as Ramapo fell to 5-8 overall and 0-4 in conference play.
Kean scored early as Danni LeSaint and Graham each found the back of the net in the first three minutes of action.
Up 3-0, the Roadrunner's Shannon Eagan closed the deficit to one with goals less than two minutes apart.
The Cougars regained offensive momentum and scored eight of the next nine goals and headed into the break with a 10-3 lead.
Kean then paced the second half, playing 25 players in total in the win.
Brittany Ballack recorded three goals, an assist and five draw controls while Emily Stasuk finished with two goals, four assists and three groundballs.
The Cougars return to NJAC action on Thursday when they travel to Rutgers-Camden.
