Camden, N.J. (4/19/18) – The Kean University women's lacrosse team bolted out to a double-digit lead and didn't look back in an 18-6 win over Rutgers-Camden on Thursday.
Meghan Tillger got the action started less than a minute into the game with a goal from Taylor Nyberg. Brittany Ballack closed out the 10-0 run with an unassisted tally with 14:13 left to go in the first half of play.
Kean (13-2, 3-2 NJAC) held a 12-2 advantage at the intermission.
The Scarlet Raptors (2-8, 0-4 NJAC) strung together four goals in the second period in the 18-6 final.
Ballack led all players with four goals and four draw controls while Morgan Graham finished with three goals. Rookie Amanda Ehrhart added two goals and two assists.
Kean enjoys a short break and closes out the non-conference portion of their schedule when they travel to St. Joseph's College-Long Island on Thursday, April 26th.
