Brooklyn, N.Y. (10/23/19) – The Kean University women's soccer team picked up their sixth shutout win of the year by topping Brooklyn College, 7-0, Wednesday evening in their last non-conference matchup of the season.
In all 26 players saw action for Kean after crossing back over the .500 mark (8-7-1 this fall).
Seven different Cougars scored in the contest with an additional two adding helpers. Senior Deana Abdou led the way with a goal and an assist.
In total, the Kean held Brooklyn (4-10-1) shot less, which registering 20 shots on goal themselves.
The Cougars provided a balanced scoring attack with three evenly spaced out in the first 45 minutes of action.
Kean has two regular season NJAC matches left on the slate as they visit Rutgers-Newark this Saturday for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
