UNION, N.J. (12/4/18) - The Kean University men's soccer team posted a 5-9-3 overall record with a 1-7-1 mark in the NJAC.
The Cougars totaled 26 goals, which averaged out to 1.53 goals per contest and 18.8 shots per game. Kean scored at least one goal in 11 contests, including posting an eight-goal game in the victory over Alfred on Sept. 8th.
All-NJAC Honorable Mention selection
Felipe Lucas led the Cougars in goals (10) and points (22). Lucas added two assists and tallied three game-winners in 1234 minutes logged. The Rookie was a two-time NJAC Rookie of the Week selection, while being named the ECAC Metro Rookie of the Month with 19 points on nine goals and one assist.
Damjan Agaj led Kean in assists (5), while
Ramesses Moore-McGuinness ranked second on the team in goals (5) and points (10).
Derek Phells made 53 saves for a .746 save percentage and a 1.43 goals against average in 1129:26 minutes logged in net. The senior posted a 5-8-1 record with three shutouts in 14 starts.
