SELINSGROVE, Pa. (8/30/19) - Belly Reynoso collected five saves as the Kean University field hockey team dropped the 2019 season opener to No. 7 Salisbury University, 3-0 on the opening day of the Connie Harnum Classic at Susquehanna University.
Rachel Domanico tallied two goals and one assist for the Sea Gulls who improve to 1-0 overall and advance to tomorrow's championship game against Wilkes.
Jenna Patrone and
Melissa Way both took two shots apiece for the Cougars who fall to 0-1 overall and will face host Susquehanna in the consolation game.
Domanico scored two goals within a two minute span early in the first half and never looked back. Despite the loss, Kean held Salisbury to just 13 shots and only allowed four penalty corners.
