UNION, N.J. (9/10/19)- Jenna Patrone notched two goals as the Kean University field hockey team improved its winning streak to four games with a 5-1 rout of Marywood University on Tuesday evening.

Morgan Stump and
Danni Parziale each tallied a goal for the Cougars who improve to 4-1 overall.
Angie Genter scored for the Pacers who fall to 2-3 overall.
Kean collected three first half goals, while holding Marywood scoreless and shot less for the first 30 minutes. The Cougars got on the board late in the first quarter, when
Ja'Carra Jackson connected with Way for the 1-0 lead in the 14
th minute. Patrone gave the Cougars the 2-0 lead with an unassisted goal in the 20
th minute.
Stump tallied her first career points just before halftime with an
Erin Donnelly assisted goal in the 29
th minute. Parziale also collected her first career points as a Cougar with an unassisted goal in the 54
th minute to increase the Kean lead to 4-0. Patrone capped off Kean's scoring with another unassisted goal in the 58
th minute.
Kean dominated Marywood on shots (27-3) and penalty corners (16-1). Patrone finished with seven shots, while Way tallied six and both Donnelly and
Lia DiPiazza recorded three apiece.
Belly Reynoso made two saves in 60 minutes of work and improves to 4-1 in the cage.
